Ringwood Woman's Club

One of the club’s focuses is the annual awarding of three scholarships to graduating female seniors from Ringwood who attend one of the local area high schools.  These funds are generated through our primary fundraiser Brunch and Gift Auction which we hold each Spring at the Mahwah Sheraton. 

In addition, the club sponsors a high school junior girl to attend Girl’s Career Institute at Douglass College for a week in June each year.  This experience provides training in good citizenship, explores women’s issues and encourages awareness of contemporary problems as well as focusing on career choices. 

We also sponsor a sophomore student to attend the Hugh O’Brien Youth Program, designed to help the student develop leadership skills.
